Jim is the General Manager of the Association office and our insurance operations. He is also responsible for community and government relations. Jim brings to the organization over 20 years of experience in the insurance industry. His background includes financial analysis & planning, marketing and underwriting. He has extensive experience working with large specialized commercial risks, including but not limited to self-insureds, public entities and alternative risk financing programs (JPA’s, risk-retention groups, captives).

Jim is a graduate of California State University, Hayward (Finance) and is also an Associate in Risk Management (ARM). Jim is a veteran of the United States Air Force.

Kelly Gilmore, Executive Assistant

Kelly is the newest member of our team and is actively involved in the agency and trade association.  Kelly is responsible for member relations, continuing education, community outreach and serves as the Editor of our quarterly newsletter.  She also provides customer service support to our many insurance clients.

Kelly is a former small business owner and has significant experience in event planning and event management.

Kelly attended Cuesta College in San Luis Obispo and has taken undergraduate courses at California State University, Hayward.
